🚀 About This Role

Are you a software developer who enjoys challenges, has strong analytical thinking, and is interested in building world-class business system solutions?

ERP Indonesia is opening opportunities for talented Odoo Developers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, customizing, and developing applications based on Odoo Enterprise / Community to digitize and optimize our clients' business processes.


 Responsibilities

  1. Module Development & Customization
    Designing, testing, and maintaining Odoo modules (Backend & Frontend) according to business needs analysis.
  2. Code Quality
    Writing clean code, structured, efficient, and adhering to Odoo's coding guidelines.
  3. System Integration
    Building integration between Odoo and third-party applications/systems using API (RESTful, XML-RPC, or JSON-RPC).
  4. Database Management
    Optimizing query structure and PostgreSQL database performance.
  5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    Performing debugging, fixing bugs, testing applications, and ensuring system stability in the production environment.
  6. Team Collaboration
    Actively collaborate with Functional Consultants, Project Managers, and other development teams to deliver the best ERP solutions.


   Requirement and skills​

  1. Strong in basic programming logic, data structures, and algorithms.
  2. Proficient in programming languages Python, JavaScript (ES6+), and creating interfaces using XML.
  3. Understanding the Odoo architecture (Odoo ORM, Views, Inheritance, Security Rules, and QWeb Templating).
  4. Experience or understanding of the latest Odoo frontend framework (OWL - Odoo Web Library) is a significant advantage.
  5. Mastering PostgreSQL database management.
  6. Familiar with using Version Control System (Git / GitHub / GitLab).
  7. Point Plus: 
    Have experience handling Odoo implementation / customization projects before or understanding the Linux server environment (Ubuntu/Docker).

Screen CVs and check GitHub/GitLab repositories to evaluate past project experience.

HR Interview & Logic Test

Initial interview (evaluating soft skills & expectations) + a short basic algorithm/logic test.

Technical Challenge

A practical take-home assignment to build or customize a simple Odoo module (2–3 days completion time)

Technical Interview & Code Review

Technical interview with the Tech Lead to review assignment code and assess Odoo, Python, and SQL expertise.

Final Interview & Job Offer

Final culture-fit interview with management, negotiation, and sending the formal Job Offer letter.
